Authorities in Austin charged a 22-year-old woman accused of running over her ex-boyfriend’s mother with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Elizabeth Segundo McClain was also charged with stalking after called her ex-boyfriend 750 times in one day. The arrest warrant says the stalking began in September, after McClain's boyfriend of about three years broke up with her.
She also threatened to cause him and his family physical harm, and on one occasion put sugar in his gas tank.
He attempted to block her calls and change his number, but she ultimately found workarounds. Even multiple police reports served as little deterrent to McClain's harassment. On November 26th, after sending her ex-boyfriend 50 blank texts, McClain informed the man she had just struck his mother with her car, following it up with another text message: "How's Life LOL."
On Monday, the boyfriend's mother was waiting beside a car with a flat tire in front of her home when McClain drove up. The mother called the police, but McClain reversed and the car struck her.
McClain then drove forward and ran over her right foot and right arm.
The mother suffered broken bones and had the skin scraped off the right side of her body.
